The Sanlam Cape Town Marathon is Africa's first Abbott World Marathon Majors Candidate. Following the cancellation of the 2025 Sanlam Cape Town Marathon on Sunday morning due to infrastructure and route damange caused by dangerously high winds, title sponsor Sanlam has announced that it wants to offer every 2025 marathon entrant a sponsored entry for either May 2026 or 2027.
This event offers our entrants to the 2025 marathon with the opportunity to select their preferred selection from this announcement.
