The Sanlam Cape Town Marathon is Africa's first Abbott World Marathon Majors Candidate.
We’re proud to support South African charities by offering a bulk entry process for the 2025 Sanlam Cape Town Marathon. This process empowers charities to mobilise their communities, purchase entries in bulk, and manage distribution independently.
This form is for local charities to register (apply) for bulk entries to the 2025 Sanlam Cape Town Marathon. If you're a charity looking to purchase entries and distribute them to your supporters or community members, you're in the right place.

Charity entries are not discounted.
Register your charity by completing this online form.
Indicate the number and type of entries your charity is requesting (e.g. 10 x 10km entries).
We’ll review all applications within 72 hours and confirm how many entries your charity has been allocated (based on availability).
If successful, we’ll send an invoice – once paid, you’ll receive promo codes for the entries.
Your charity can distribute the codes as it sees fit.
You will receive bi-weekly reports to help track the redemption of promo codes.
Proof of registered NPO status
Audited financial statements for the past 2–3 years
Evidence of a strong local footprint
Valid tax clearance certificate
Declaration that directors have no ties to government or public organisations

Distances:
Saturday, 18 October 2025: 5km & 10km road, 43km, 22km & 11km trail runs
Sunday, 19 October 2025: 42.2km marathon (road)
Age limits:
In accordance with Athletics South Africa (ASA) Rules and Regulations, participants must meet the minimum age requirement for each event by the event date.
5km Peace Run: 9 years
10km Peace Run: 14 years
11km Cape Town Trail: 18 years
22km Cape Town Trail: 18 years
43km Cape Town Trail Marathon: 20 years
42.2km Marathon: 18 years
